Fiona Caulfield is a travel writer originally from Australia who now calls India home. I think she's brilliant to write these books because most people I know aren't grouped easily by budget, and yet that's how most travel guides are written. They might splurge on hand-made textiles or a really good massage but would eat dinner from a street vendor or stay in a no-frills guest house.
